Allen Chan
FounderAllen is the Director and Founder of Your Virtual Partner. He has over 15 years of experience within the Mortgage and Finance industry and graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with a Bachelor of Mathematics and Finance. To further pursue his passion for finance, Allen went on to obtain a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Brokering Management from KAPLAN. He is also a full member of the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA), which is the peak national body for the mortgage and finance broking industry.
As a Sydney local, Allen attended Newtown High School of the Performing Arts before going on to purchase his first home at the tender age of 23. Since then, he has purchased over 10 different types of properties with diverse taxation structures across multiple states. His keen interest and expertise in property investment have allowed him to accrue back the more than 6-figure sum he lost during the global financial crisis (GFC) of 2008.
When Allen isn’t busily working away here at Your Virtual Partner, you’ll find him enjoying road trips in his Lexus 450H hybrid vehicle, tinkering with high-tech gadgets, or spending time with his partner and two beautiful daughters. He also loves to MC and DJ at weddings and corporate events—with this passion for performing dating back to his appearance in the Opening Ceremony of the Sydney 2000 Olympics.
Allen is passionate about helping others, and one day hopes to become a philanthropist to assist communities in need around the world.

My career started at the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Palawan, where I worked as a Resource Speaker running training programs on Adobe Photoshop and Canva. That experience gave me a solid foundation in both creative design and digital education, and taught me how to turn complex ideas into practical, results-driven work.
Since then, I've worked with government organisations, private companies, and international clients on projects spanning web design, social media management, branding, UI/UX design, SEO, and content creation. My portfolio includes Byahe Transportation Service Palawan and BoldRM, alongside my ongoing work leading creative and digital strategy for ZENRG Finance, Your Virtual Partner, and Chanman Mentoring.

Brian's path to IT leadership wasn't a straight line. He started out as a Social Media Associate at YVP, where his early interest in photo and video editing, originally just a hobby, grew into a hands-on role shaping the company's digital presence.
Today, Brian is the one the team turns to for troubleshooting, system reliability, platform rollouts, and keeping YVP's tech stack running smoothly behind the scenes. His ability to move fluidly between technical problem-solving and creative thinking, a legacy of his content creation days, makes him especially good at finding solutions that work for both the systems and the humans using them.

Before joining the ZENRG and YVP teams, Joanna built a strong career in the aviation industry, working for more than five years with major airlines including Philippines AirAsia, Royal Air, Garuda Indonesia, and Cathay Pacific. She began as a Passenger Service Agent (PSA), advanced to Passenger Service Team Leader, and ultimately became a Station Supervisor, where she was assigned to manage operations at General Santos City Airport. These experiences developed her leadership, compliance oversight, and client service skills, which continue to inform her work at ZENRG Finance today.
When Joanna first joined ZENRG, she had no prior background in the mortgage industry. However, through the guidance and support of the team, particularly Allen and Francis, and with their belief in her skills and capabilities, she successfully transitioned into the finance sector and advanced into the compliance role she holds today.
